I hope that everyone had a great Christmas!  Any time of year, and especially around the Holidays my husband and I like to make donations.  This year after a few health scares with our kitty, Nephthys, we were amazed by the determination of the staff at an emergency vet in Scottsdale, Arizona.  I will write up a post about her health and the answers we finally found later but tonight I want to focus on the great products that we included.

I really enjoy planning out how to give gifts as a presentation.  I had the idea of everything bundled together.  I ran across something at Target (of course!) that made my vision come to life. 

Beverage Tub

I saw this beverage holder and I thought it would be adorable containing gifts, something different than your average basket or gift bag.  I didn’t see it on the website but I got one in gold.  

We anxiously waited for the items that we ordered to arrive so we could fill the tub with goodies.  We first printed out a large photo of our cat to give to the vet as a thank you for saving her life not once but twice.  We wanted to get things for dogs and cats and we were able to get 4 dog toys, 15 cat wands, and 5 blankets.

When our kitty came home from her 2 night stay at the vet, the office mistakenly gave us two of their own blankets thinking they belonged to Nephthys.  We told them that they were not hers but being the kind hearted people they are, they said she could have them anyway.  During stressful times we wanted to get blankets that we could imagine wrapping these sweet animals with love.  My husband found this website with blankets that we thought would fit the bill.

I opted to get 15 of 'the dazzler' sticks.  I wanted to find something I thought would be suitable to play with the cats at the vet.  The 'dazzler' cat teaser wand is made up of brightly colored, 100% nylon tube ribbons which are wound and secured to a 12" wooden handle that will simply "dazzle" your feline.
